About Our Herbalist
Welcome to Extracted Essentials, a faith-based wellness brand founded by Nurse Stephanie Lemond, BSN, RN - a devoted healthcare professional, herbalist, and native of Americus, Georgia.
Stephanie's journey began right in the heart of Americus, where she attended Americus High School and furthered her education at South Georgia Technical College, proudly graduating from the nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her passion for healing and service led her to pursue her Registered Nursing degree at Darton College in Albany, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University.
Stephanie's roots in Americus run deep. She lived, studied, and worked throughout the city - in retail, fast food, and nursing - all with a strong foundation in customer care and community service.
Her cousin, a proud owner of Dorothea's Beauty Salon, also serves as a teacher at South Georgia Technical College, further strengthening the family's commitment to the city's growth and well-being.
Her brother, Willie Barron, is also a respected community presence at Phoebe Sumter Hospital, where he serves in security and customer care, helping to provide a safe and welcoming environment for patients and visitors alike.
Americus is known not only for its tight-knit community but also for its historical gems, such as the iconic Windsor Hotel. Built in 1892, this grand Victorian-style hotel stands as a symbol of the city's rich heritage, featuring elegant architecture and Southern charm that draws visitors from near and far. The Windsor has hosted famous figures and remains a testament to Americus' deep historical roots.
